Lake Tahoe Lakers are moving to the NCDC!
The Lake Tahoe Lakers are proud to announce their official advancement to the National Collegiate Development Conference (NCDC), the highest tier of the United States Premier Hockey League. After competing in the USPHL Premier Division from 2021 through 2026, the organization has earned the opportunity to elevate its program to the highest level of junior hockey within the league. This move represents a major milestone for the Lakers, reinforcing the team’s commitment to player development, advancement, and competing against the top talent in North America.
As the Lakers prepare for their inaugural NCDC season, key upcoming dates have been set for prospective players and fans alike. The team will host its NCDC ID Pre-Draft Camp from April 24–26, providing a first look at the next wave of talent. The official NCDC Player Draft will take place on May 14, shaping the foundation of the 2026–27 roster. A full Main Camp is scheduled for later this summer, where final roster decisions will be made. With excitement building in South Lake Tahoe, the Lakers are ready to take the next step and usher in a new era of elite junior hockey.
